hey fgians!!! i've received ALOT of smses & realised u guys are confused about something. Those meeting me on 31/5, you guys are only PREPARING A DEMO for the kids. OUR DEMO IS JUST TO SHOW THEM WHAT A DANCE/DRAMA IS LIKE, IT IS NOT WHAT THE KIDS ARE GONNA DO. So 2nd-4th session ppl, don't worry if you dunno what the 31/5 ppl learn. So, if u guys are not in the 31/5 shift, or cannot come in 31/5 morning, nvm. Only those that come to school in the morning will do the demo, so we don't need the whole class here. ONLY THE FIRST DAY PPL ARE REQUIRED TO COME TO SCHOOL AT 10 TMR. For those in the 2nd-4th session, i'll try to mix you guys around, so that you all will know what we do in the last few sessions. You ppl are NOT REQUIRED to learn any dance/drama from the 31/5 ppl, as u all only need to GUIDE the kids. The dance & drama script have to be TOTALLY CREATED BY THE KIDS THEMSELVES. WE'RE NOT SUPPOSED TO HELP THEM CREATE. understand? our job there is to GUIDE THEM THROUGH THE RIGHT WAY, NOT DO EVERYTHING FOR THEM. If there is really a need, I'll try to get what different groups are doing at the end of each session, then I'll brief at least 1 person from each group of the next session about the skit/dance. ok, i hope you guys understand what i'm saying -.- -Amanda(: P.S. you guys may need to stay back for awhile after 5pm to report to siyu/me/jean about ur dance/skit coz we need to tell the next session ppl about what we're doing.

Hey ppl, for service learning right, i understand alot of you dunno how to go. So now i'm telling you guys the directions. Got 3 ways of going: 1. Take a taxi. 2. Take MRT to Sengkang MRT Station(Purple Line), & walk there. 3. Take MRT To Sengkang & take a bus there. CAUTION: SENGKANG MRT HAS 5 EXITS!! DUN GO TO THE WRONG EXIT! For those who are walking from Sengkang MRT, Exit at Sengkang East Ave/Anchorvale Link. (Don't ask me how to walk there) For those taking bus from Sengkang MRT, got 2 ways. Method 1: Exit MRT at Compassvale Street. Cross the road to BLOCK 240 COMPASSVALE ROAD & BOARD BUS 372 AT THAT BUS STOP. Take the bus for 4 stops & alight at Anchorvale Drive Block 306. (The stop after Nan Chiau High School). Method 2: Exit MRT at Sengkang East Way. Board bus 372. Take the bus for 15 stops & alight at Anchorvale Drive Block 306. (The stop after Nan Chiau High School). One hint, the place is opposite Nan Chiau High School. hello ppl, service learning CONFIRMED schedule here:
1. The above dates are the dates which you guys have to turn up for service learning!! 2pm-5pm on 31/5-11/6. 14/6 will be held from 1-5pm. Attendance will be taken. Please do not "play truant" as every hour you miss will be worth 1h of CIP. Those who did not do 6h full, ur CIP hours will suffer. 2. NO transport provided. I'm sorry but you all have to go to sengkang yourself. Address:
Ok, dress code now: -Class Tee/ CCA Tee/ PE T-shirt with school skirt/shorts/pe shorts. If you want home shorts, it can't be too short. No FBTs. I don't want the little kids to learn to wear revealing clothes. Thank you. -Colour hairband/clips allowed. Fringe can be let down. But those with long hair, please tie up your hair for tidiness. & it'll be very hot. We're representing 2FG & cchms, i dun wan the child care to complain for untidiness. Thank You. -Sport Shoes/Casual shoes/School shoes allowed. NO sandals/slippers. I dun wan to be accused of being too casual. Rmb, we're representing 2FG & cchms. Thanks. -Ankle socks allowed. Chill, no principal/mr chua there :P Ok, next, important notices for different shifts. 31/5 ppl: Please meet in school at 10am. Those who cannot report to school, report straight to sengkang at 2pm. 10-1230: rehearse. 1230-1300: lunch(not provided). 1300-1400: travel to sengkang together. We need to rehearse the dance & drama. Drama scripts will be provided & we'll find a dance for u guys to learn. You ppl are damn impt coz u guys are the ones who will be demo-ing for the little kids. Don't embarrass yourself kay? 4/6 ppl: I guess it will be the first time u guys are going there. Try to reach earlier. Si Yu will be in charged of that day(attendance will be taken). Drama group please finish the script & dance group please finish choreographing the dance. Also, note down all ur props & costumes by that day. After the whole thing, do tell Jolene/any logistic person the items u guys need. 7/6 ppl: It will be the 2nd visit for most of you. During this day, Jolene & logistic committee rmb to bring all the items. MUZ BRING OK? than you guys will get the items from logistic ppl & make ur props/costumes. rmb u're there to GUIDE the kids, not HELP them. so leave some job for them. 75% of the props/costumes muz be completed by this day. 11/6 ppl: You guys also very important. Last day for rehearsal. MAKE SURE the kids are all ready for the competition on 14/6. Please also take down all the little kids name from your group & pass to Jean. There'll be a rehearsal held on 11/6. Which means, all props/costumes muz be DONE & READY by this day. Also, the students muz be all prepared. 14/6 ppl: ALL OF YOU MUST COME ON THIS DAY. Except above mentioned ppl. It'll be the competition day. Of course, you guys juz need to make the final preparation & check for the competition. There'll be prize presentation. Yea, that's all. YO! FGIANS! TODAY IS AN AWESOME DAY ISN'T IT? hehe! yes! today is the interclass game! and our class result is really hiazzzzzz.. BUT IT IS OK! cause we already did our best in winning.. too bad that our class students do not excel in sports, but then i believe that everyone that participate in the competition enjoy themselves right? so DUN BE DEPRESS OK! especially the basketball ppl! Hey FGians, service learning grouping & schedule here: Lower Primary Dance: Amanda Wing Kuan Wei Han Kerrine Meng Tong Ser Jean Ding Xiang Zhe Kai Zhen Hui Upper Primary Dance: Charmaine Dallas Jia Hui Juliana Zhi Tong Yuan Fang Ren Shu Hoong Wei Luka Lower Primary Drama: Jolene Wei Qin Si Yu Grace Lin Ying Yu Lin Wei Zhong Zong Han Wang Miao Upper Primary Drama: Kylin Kia Yee Ting Ting Bernice Chen Lan Jun Hui Neng Hao Bryan Xin Peng People not involved(not coming at all coz overseas): Jia Yu, Kim Hwang, Si Han Yeaps, every group will have 9 ppl. Now's the time schedule. Check which day is compulsory for u to come:  Pink: Lower Primary Dance; Blue: UP Dance; Purple: LP Drama; No colour: UP Drama. For the group, 1-to-1 exchange is allowed. (e.g. Amanda from LPDance exchange with Jolene from LPDrama) understand? of course, when u exchange, ur dates will be changed too. all exchanges, leave a tag in tagboard/email me @ amanda.tan_96@live.com.sg :D exchanges must be done by 25May. Then i'll put up the new schedule on 26 May & tell u whether ur exchange is approved. Also, if u cannot come on a particular day, 1 to 1 exchange is allowed (must be ppl of the same group). Yeap, & it muz be done by 25 may also. Anw, i used 2h grouping u guys ok? i group according to: 1)who is friendly enough to be in lower primary. 2)CCA & talent background. 3) Imagine how the person will be like when they dance. (e.g. Zhen hui dancing) 4) Their cliques & friends. Of course, some ppl (like zhenhui) obviously don't suit the group they are in. But i put them in for entertainment. (e.g. zhenhui in LP Dance) u get what i mean? Also, if u realized, every one of u will have at least a friend in the same group as u. Also, the friend will be in the same day as u. so that's what i meant be cliques & friends. But for boys, i don't really know how u clique, so i anyhow allocate u guys. Yeap that's all. HAPPY BIRTHDAY JIAHWEE :D sorry no midnight post D: but i msned & smsed u at 2:30am leh!!! hehe, today's 13 the thursday, so lucky :D but it means nxt yr ur bdae will fall on 13 the friday D:D: anw fgians, LAST DAY OF EXAMS!!! excited? scared? anxious? haha, but results not out yet. Go enjoy urselves these few days b4 the horrible results come out.
